Announcement

Well, I have some bad news. I'm going to be out of town, and thus, not posting, from next saturday to friday.
That's right. I'm going to be out of town for 6th edition. Not that I could afford it, but you know. Still sucks.
Anyway, is there anything that anyone would like addressed regarding 6th, or saying goodbye to 5th?

Don't worry, it's not like 6th edition will be over by the time you get back. In fact, I suspect there'll be plenty of time to catch up. ;-)
That being said, I wonder if Bloodletters and -crushers will be affected by the choice of powerweapons. Modelling axes on them to get 4 S7 AP2 attacks out of a crusher seems like it'd be quite devastating, at first glance. I suspct 'unwieldly' will hamper them a bit, though.

So, as it turns out, both Bloodletters and -crushers are stuck with plain powerswords. Pity, too, because my first game in 6th ed was against a combined Khornate force. My Captain in artificer armor just solo-tanked a five strong squad of bloodcrushers for three turns before he could off the last one while suffering one wound in return.
