I'm not going to deny it, the blog is slipping into oblivion. I'm afraid it'll get worse before it gets better, but I will resume posting.
I cannot afford sixth edition for a while. Consider this an extension of hiatus. I can't say how long, certainly
less than a half year, longer than a month.
But the Astute Daemon will return.
For sure, when the starter set comes out, I will be back. I can afford a 20 dollar book, but I can't justify spending eighty dollars on something that, frankly, is no real benefit to me.
I thank the patience of you, the readers, who made this blog successful and will do so again.

Anyway, if you take some time off, I want to thank you for all the work so far. It was a fun ride.
On a more cheerful note: New Daemon models! And new rules! Excited?

I need to play games, and I really can't with a scan.
And WHAT? I've been out of the blogging loop, how is... :D

Screamers and Flamers got a bit of a buff, both got new models along with the blue scribes, plaguebearers and nurglings, and there are three absurdly large chariots of Slaanesh, all of which are fragile as can be but come cheap and with a boatload of rending impact hits and attacks. Probably a great second wave unit, once you're opponent is tied down by some cannonfodder. 4D6+4 rending impact hits per exalted seeker chariot will mess up most things. One exalted chariot is 90 pts, with a max of three per squadron. Fun times.
That being said, I still dislike this version of the daemonettes. 3rd edition's were so much better, it's not even funny.
